My paintings are non-specific references to the landscape from above or the sky from below. Both views reflect the human desire to find meaning in the universe through delineating and categorizing natural forms. The thickly applied paint and pasted text reveal an intersection of the raw, natural environment and the ordered grid we project upon it.
